The origin story
Running a solo service business meant spending half my time on things that weren’t client work — invoicing, follow-ups, proposals, scheduling, and chasing payments. I was working 60-hour weeks and half of it was admin.
I started experimenting with free tools — Zapier, Google Apps Script, email sequences, Notion templates. One by one, I automated the tasks that were eating my hours. Within 3 months, I’d reclaimed 15 hours a week.
Every blog about automation was written for marketing teams at mid-size companies. Nobody was writing for the freelancer doing everything alone, the coach juggling 8 clients, the consultant who just wants to stop copying data between apps.
I started documenting every system, every workflow, every “I can’t believe I was doing this manually” moment. The goal: help every solo service owner build the systems that give them their time back.
