The ground rules

Terms of service.

What you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and the handful of things we have to say because lawyers exist.

01

The deal

By using RunItOnAutopilot (the site, the newsletter, the digital products, the starter kit) you agree to these terms. If you don’t, that’s okay — just don’t use the site.

We’re a one-person publication. These terms are written plainly because we’d rather you actually read them than skim legalese.

02

What we provide

Articles, tutorials, templates, and recommendations about automating a solo service business. We do our best to keep everything accurate and up to date, but the internet moves fast. Tools change pricing, sunset features, or get acquired.

You’re responsible for verifying that a tool or workflow fits your situation before you rely on it.

03

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is legal, tax, accounting, financial, or business-operations advice. We’re a blog. If a decision has real money or legal risk attached, talk to a qualified professional.

04

Your use of the content

You can read, share, and reference our posts freely. Link back if you quote a substantial chunk — that’s all we ask.

  • Do: share a link, screenshot a paragraph for social, copy a prompt or SOP into your own business.
  • Don’t: republish entire posts on your own site, resell our templates, or train an AI model on our content.
05

Digital products

When you buy a digital product (a template, prompt pack, or course), you get a personal, non-transferable license to use it in your own business. You can modify it, but you can’t resell it or redistribute the source files.

Refunds: we offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund on paid products. Email us and we’ll process it.

06

Affiliate disclosure

Many product links on this site are affiliate links. If you click through and buy, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. We only recommend tools we’ve used ourselves. Commissions keep the blog free.

07

Accounts and conduct

If you subscribe or buy something, give us accurate information. Don’t scrape the site, attempt to break things, or abuse the comment or email reply channels.

We may pause or cancel access for anyone behaving in a way that harms the site or the community.

08

Third-party tools

We link to and recommend third-party services (Kit, Zapier, Notion, etc.). We don’t control them. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. We’re not responsible for outages, price changes, or policy changes on their end.

09

Liability

The content on this site is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, we’re not liable for losses arising from your use of the content — for example, a workflow that breaks in your own setup, or a tool that changes its pricing.

If you’re ever owed anything by us under these terms, it’s capped at what you’ve paid us in the prior 12 months (likely $0 — most readers pay us nothing).

10

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will reflect the latest version. Material changes will be announced to newsletter subscribers.

11

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where we’re based. Disputes go to the courts there. If any section is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
